Well, I recently bought a 1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 Police Model. After a couple of weeks on the new bike, I missed the Savage. I missed how easy it starts. I missed not having to mess with the choke or nurse it as it warmes up. Most of all I missed how easy the Savage is to handle. I wheeled my old 87 Suzi out of the garage yesterday and rediscovered the fun of riding a savage. Sure my friends go "Put Put" Put" after I pull up. And yes, they know it is me pulling up when they hear the whoof after I shut her down. I think the best thing of all is that the Suzi is bullet proof. It reminds me of the energizer bunny. I have decided after much debate that I will keep the old girl.
